2024 Flood Relief Residency

During early July 2024, flood waters returned to Vermont. Many towns and artisans experienced tremendous loss for the second year in a row. Inspired by Grace Potter’s fundraising musical event, Grand Point North, and in partnership with Vermont Crafts Council, I am offering three local Vermont Artists each a week of respite, reclamation, and rejuvenation alongside me, in my Morrisville, Vermont studio.

What do you need to Progress your ARTISTRY? How are you Feeling?

In order to transform out of stress and trauma spawned by flooding, and from a place of understanding and familiarity, I invite awardees the opportunity to immerse themselves in their craft. Recipients are invited to work through the balancing act of responsibilities from a unique location. I make this offer because I have - and continue to - transform my stress and trauma into art; I am deeply grateful at the opportunity to invite you to do so with me.

2024 Grand Point North InstalLation

Increasing awareness about the impact of human consumption, and the ever changing climate of our earth. While visually intriguing, this installation is considerably dirty, possibly overwhelming, and intentionally open for conversation. What is your rate of single serving use?

OPEN Call to Vermont Crafts Council Members

In alignment with Grace Potter’s Grand Point North donation of proceeds to Vermont Flood Relief and foundation, I am passing on profits from my installation to three Vermont artists negatively affected by the recent July flooding. Recipients will be provided an immersive offer of time, space, and a modest financial gift.
